Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Hi there, I had an incident in york Pennsylvania that I have a sound recording of that proves my innocence. Is this something that is held up in court or are sound recordings ignored as evidence?

Did all the parties being recorded give their consent to being recorded? If not you could have violated the Wiretap Act. That act applies even if you weren't using a telephone. Say you were making a video with sound. Before you plan to use your sound recording you might want to check with an attorney so you don't end up looking at a 3rd degree felony.
