i was wonderin what evidence what they need to put it to a trial?

The prosecution needs to establish at the preliminary hearing that a crime has been committed and that the accused is the one who committed it.

any evidence at all. by that i mean that the testimony of the complainant alone is enough with no other evidence. further, if the complainant had previously testified and is now unavailable, the da may be a ble to read in that prior testimony. also, if the officer spoke with the complainant in the past and the judge rules that their conversation was NOT testimonial, an office may be all the da needs to go to trial. the point is, the da doesn't need much. however, none of the above means that you will automatically be found guilty. in fact, the less evidence, the better your chance.
