Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Innocent of Bad Checks
My mom opened a checking account in my name (I was under 18) & forged my signature. Then stole a check from me (When I started my own account over 18) & forged that 2. I'm being charged 4 these bad checks that I didn't write out. I had 2 take writing samples 2 compare signatures but it came back inconclusive. Now the dectective won't help me. Can I really be charged for these bad checks that I didn't write? Even when there is no proof but my word? Please help me!

Obviously it is going to be your word against your mothers. I strongly recommend that you close the account, if you already did not, and hire an attorney. My initial consultations are always free. Please call 215/592/0780.
