Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
being invesgiated
my daughter is being invesgated for child abuse. When child services told us that we said the little guy's bruses are from just playing and his doctor is aware of them told him reason we asked doctor because he was anemick and she said thats because he drinks to much milk. that could be why it takes him a little longer to heal. we told this to the child services and he said oh my supervisr wants him seen by a pathologist. and that he dosen't have a case yet. i asked him if the doctor said no abuse why still this he said oh just procedure and worst case if they found something they would call the doctor back and this would be it. well do we have right to say no test you have the doctor's report or can they do what they want and we have no rights asked if we needed lawer he said no

Re: being invesgiated
These cases are difficult because it's a questioning of balancing the welfare of the child with the rights of the parents. There are abuses and mistakes both ways on occasion. It sounds to me like they are just being careful.
