what is a the reason that someone is ask to take a polygraph test? and what is the percent rate with the polygraph?

in state cases, law enforcement generally does not use lie detector tests for many reasons. if you are being threatened by the police to confess, saying that they will give you a lie detector is a method the police use to get you to confess. If you take a lie detector, make sure you get an independent person to administer the test, not a cop on an employee of the city.
