Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Jail
I was writing letters with an inmate, I am a corrections officer at a county jail. The other night he mailed me a letter, I panicked and took the letter from the office before it could be mailed. Now tomorrow I have to go to the state police because they have some questions I dont understand what legal law I broke. I know i broke jail policy. They found two letters on him, had nothing to do with anything with the jail. Any idea why they need to speak to me?

Re: Jail
It might have something to do with what the letters said, if they know. You probably shouldn't talk with the police without an attorney present. Feel free to email or call. I am in Armstrong County, and I assume you are in Clarion.
