Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Lawyer Fee
I know some lawyers charge high fees but im confused here. My lawyer asked for $12,000 to represent me in a felony trial which i was pleading not guilty to. My understanding was the fee was so high because I was taking the case to trial..ok. Well last minute my lawyer pretty much forced me to plea bargain. He got me a decent deal but for 12 grand I think is a bit steep, is this a normal fee?

Fee disputes are handled by the fee arbitration committee. You can find the committee by call your local bar association.
