Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

legal

Is it legal for an investigation officer to paraphrase what my husband said, or what he THINKS my husband said and write that on the PSI then use it against him at his court hearing? What he ''paraphrased'' was not even close to what my husband said and It made a huge difference in the out come of his case.

Re: legal

Unless the interview was taped. Its his word vs. the investigator.

The question is why did he say anything without a lawyer? Nothing you can say to the police can help you. They can only testify to things you said that are against you not for you.
