plead guilty to driving under suspension for dui in different state was unaware of possibility of jail time. should i appeal

Is the out of state conviction having an effect on your license in PA? Are you a validly licensed PA driver? Have you received a letter from Penn DOT "Noticing" the suspension? Are you within the foriegn state's appeal period?
