Is there a limit on how much time they have to give you a preliminary hearing?

Under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, the preliminary hearing must be held no earlier than three days and no more than 10 days after the preliminary arraingment.
The prelim, can however, be earlier than the three day period if defense counsel requests it and the Commonwealth says it's okay. It also can be extended beyond the ten day period for good cause shown.
