Megan's Law

Do you have to or are you suppose to be put on the Megan Law if you have an sexual assualt against an adult?

Megan's Law is a somewhat complicated subject. I am not sure that I understand your question. If you commit one of the crimes on the list, you must register. Some of the crimes are age specific and some are not. For example, any rape conviction, against a person of any age, would amount to sex offender status. However, this is different than sexual violent predator status and registration. This is determined by a test, with a seperate hearing.

If you are unclear at all about any megan's law in PA, you should contact a lawyer. Don't guess because not regestering correctly is a new crime.
