misdemeanor offense

my 19 year old son was arrested for posession of drug paraphanelia

he has to appear for arraingment and his attorney will not be with him is that ok, first offense.

Should attorney be with him he was told to plead not guilty. He was arrested in Ohio lives PA

Re: misdemeanor offense

The attorney doesn't have to be with him at the arraignment and it is pretty standard to plead not guilty until his attorney has a chance to see pre-trial discovery (the evidence).
