Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My mother in law is living in MN and recenly had a stroke. She is now unable to talk or walk and we need to file for SSI benefits. She currenly has an outstanding warrent in PA for public assistance funds. What are our options for having a pardon granted or some way of possibly wiping this away so that she is able to receive benefits.

the best thing you can do is get a lawyer to contact the DAs office in the jurisdiction in which she is being prosecuted and convince them to drop the case and agree to an expungement. a pardon will take years and by then it will be too late. good luck. [email protected]
