Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My mother recently came home in a frenzy and slapped me, and I immediately pushed her away to avoid any further physical harm. She threatened to call the police and have me arrested for battery. First of all, can I actually be charged with battery since she was the aggressor and I merely defended myself? Second of all, is there anything else I could be charged with? For the record, I am 18.
