mug shots
as a concerned citizen is it my right to obtain a mug shot of another individual? Is that a matter of public record and if so where do I turn to obtain that photo? thank you

I don't know that there is such a right. It seems to me that the mere fact that someone has a "mug shot" resulting from an arrest does not mean that the individual actually committed any crime and I think release of the same may violate that individual's right to privacy.
