Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
in a murder case if the district attorney holds back evidence that can help a defendant to show some innocence such as confiscating a pair of shoes from the defendant and finding their is no blood on them and dosent bring them out in evidence what steps are to be taken for such a mishap of justice

two part answer:
1. if the case has not yet gone to trial, your lawyer can file a discovery motion with the trial judge with an order to bring the actual shoes tot he court room for the trial.
2. if the person has already been convicted, your lawyer can file a pcra based on the evidence.
