Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

murder

when a defendanet files a motion to have his public defenders taken off his case because of poor representation and the judge denies it then the publi defenders ask to be taken off because they say lack of cooperation and other circumstances fail to enable them to properly defend their client at this time and the judge says he dosent care there was to many posponments and says to start picking the jury as we are going to trial now is this unfair to the defendant as he will not have the proper defense the law requires or just a judge who dosent care about the outcome as he was found guilty of murder 1 at the age of 16

Re: murder

the constitution provides that you have the right to counsel if you cannot afford one. the constitution doesn't say anything about you liking your lawyer or getting along with your lawyer or your lawyer being friendly with you.

by asking to be removed from the case right before trial, the lawyer set up an appellate issue for the defendant.

why were they not getting along? [email protected]
