In a murder trial? Being represented by Public Defenders, In which you are put on the stand to testify,in your own defense and you are acussing two people,for which you saw them committe the crime,but you are being accused of the murder.After the conclusion and all the rest that finishes the trial and sentencing,and you are convicted and sentenced ,and a few years later you find out that the person you saw do the murder was a client of the same public defender, is that a conflict of intrest,espically when your attorney,asks to be taken off the case one month before you are to select a jury, and the judge denies it even though your attorney says he isnt prepared to go to trial because of conflicts with getting information and not being able to prepare for a defense .What steps can be taken in such a way to right the wrong that has been done. Espically when it takes two years to get your discovery and pages are missing.

after your direct appeal is over, you can assert your pcra rights (post conviction relief act). this is a different type of appeal that cannot be taken until the direct appeal is over.
