First offense Sentencing on Hobbs act
My girlfriend was arrested for an armed robbery that happened 3 yrs ago. This is her first offense. During that period in her life she was under the influence of her then criminal boyfriend and she herself a drug abuser. Since being with me she has stopped using and was scheduled to re-enter college. Seeing that this is her first offense what could her possible sentence be?

Re: First offense Sentencing on Hobbs act
Because armed robbery is a violent felony, if she's found guilty she could do some hard prison time. It depends on the prosecution's position regarding her and her actions and also on whether she takes the case to trial. J.S. Kats www.lawjsk.com
