Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
In Pa, Can you be held over a yr. if you've been charged and not convicted of a crime yet? Can the police hold statements and partial discovery for case from defense this long? Nov. will be a year.

Generally they have to try you with in a year of arrest. The exception is if some of the time is your fault. You asked for a continuance for example.
