Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
PA Probation Violation
I know someone who was on probation in PA and was told that he was aloud to move to NC provided he would come back every two moths to check in and pay on his fine. However due to some bad circumstances he was unable to go back and more or less skipped out on the whole ordeal. It has been over two years now. If he would decide to go back to PA would he find a warrant for him? If so what type of action would be taken against him?

There is probably a warrant out for him, but if he got a lawyer and arranged to turn himself in, the court might make allowances. If they have to get him, he could have a separate charge for fugitive from justice..
He should get a lawyer, and make arrangements through the lawyer to turn himself in and pay the fine. Hopefully, he is living an orderly life and is working and trying to improve his situation
