Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
In Pennsylvania the age of consent law confuses me. I am 16 and live in New York and have a 14 year old girlfriend in PA. We are about 2 years and 4 months age difference. I am not looking to do anything sexual with her, but my parents are not letting me visit her because they are worried someone would say we did something and get me in trouble with the law. Can someone please clarify the PA age of consent. If i understood it correctly its 16 and above can do anything with adults and 14-15 year old's can do sexual activity s with those who are less than four years older than them. Please tell me if this is correct and correct me if I'm wrong. Also if you have the time please explain the age of consent for NY it would help a lot.

You are correct. The PA age of consent is 16. For 14-15 year olds, the other person has to be 4 years or less older. I don't know what New York law is. You should re-post on here to NY lawyers.
Be careful about taking her over state lines to do something that may be a crime in one of the states. An overzealous prosecutor may get creative.
