Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
if a person on parole probation checks himself into a hospital and tests positive for crack cocaine are they required to inform his probation officer ? Breaking parole probation would get him off the street for 3 years!!

If a person on parole/probation tests positive for crack cocaine, he should have his head examined and go into treatment asap.......If he is seeking help, there is no no affirmative duty for the facility to report it....
I can't sufficiently stress that the lessons MUST be learned and changes must be made.....
Have him start going to NA right away and getting counselling.....
