Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Petition to Release from Jail
My boyfriend is in jail right now. His lawyer said he filed a petition to get him released.
How long does the process usually take? It's been over 2 days.

Re: Petition to Release from Jail
It really depends on teh COunty & The Judge. However, my experience is that it always takes longer than 2 days. I would ask your lawyer how long he/she thinks it will take. You should trust their answer.
