Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

My ex took physical possession of my dog when I moved out and wouldn't give him back. She threatened to call police and claim harm if I approached her. Dogs are considered personal property in PA. I am filing a Private Criminal Complaint. How can I help my case for ADA to file the charge

I'll bett you $5 ight now rhat the ADA will tell you it's a civil matter. So you're thinking ok I'll go to the DJ. Unfortunately what the rlief you are seeking is replevin. A legal term for give me back my property. Unfortunately such actions can't be raised in front of a DJ the have to go to Common Pleas Court. So it's not going to be easy to get you dog back.
