Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

playing soccer against the law?

I was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of a highway or other public passage way for playing soccer in a parking lot where there are no signs posted saying anything about not being aloud to be there. When an officer came up he told me i had to stop playing. I then proceeded to ask what the law was saying i couldn't play there. He clearly didn't know the law so i kept asking over and over until the cop got out of the car and grabbed my arm and i ran to my house where cops then came and arrested me put me in the car and took me to the station. I was then searched had to drop my pants and spread my checks. I ended up leaving with a citation for disorderly conduct and obstruction of a highway or other public passage way

Re: playing soccer against the law?

Why on earth play soccer in a parking lot? Next when a police officer asks you to stop and move along why not take the hint? Assuming that the parking lot was open to the road its probably not a good place to play. Further assuming that you probably didn't have permission from the land owner to play soccer there. You could have been charged with trespass.
