Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Plea Bargin
My husband agreed to a plea bargin in the state of PA. Porbation for 5 years and megans law for 10 years. The judge then gave him 3 months of house arrest on top og the plea bargin. My question is It's been 2 months now is it to late to decide to go to trial? Things that we were told about this megans law is now different then what now is coming our way.

Re: Plea Bargin
You only have a limited amount of time and limited reasons to withdraw a plea, however, there may be something here since the sentencing was before a recent change in the Megan's law interstate procedures on January 1, 2008.
In order to properly evaluate the case, you should consult with an attorney who practices in the County where the sentencing took place.
