Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
polygraph and attorney
I have a friend that has to take a polygraph test and he was told by the examiner that if he brings his attorney that he is not going to give him the test. He is required to take this test under his probation. Do they have a right to tell him not to bring his attorney? I was under the understanding that you have a right to have an attorney present at anything you do. Please advice.

Re: polygraph and attorney
Probation and parole are different than most other matters but I've never heard of polygraph tests being a condition of probation or parole. Maybe someone else here can better answer this. I don't know what an attorney would be able to do at one of them anyway. Object to questions?
