Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
possession of paraphernalia
I let a friend stay at my apartment for a couple weeks because he got kicked out of his apartment. He left a marijuana pipe at my place. Over Christmas i went to my mom's house. While i was away maintenance came into to my apartment for repairs. When i returned to my apartment it was ransacked. My friends pipe was gone. My coal incense burner from church that i had in my prayer corner was also missing. Over the holiday a police officer tried to call me on my phone but didn't get a hold of me. He didn't leave a message. However, he called my dad and left a message for me to call him back but said that it wasn't an emergency.
At this point what should i do? Obviously, i should get a lawyer but other than that. Would it be foolish to call the officer to see what its about? I am a college student and don't want to lose my loans and education over a paraphernalia possession when i don't even own paraphernalia or do illegal drugs anymore. Help!!! I'm very distressed over this

1) Get an attorney.
2) Don't say anything to the police. You have the right to remain silent exercise that right.
