Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Hey I have a question, I have a preliminary hearing comming up but I talked with the plaintiff and they are agreeing to drop all charges what would be the easiest way to get my charges dropped? If they just didnt show up would that automatically get my charges dropped? please help

Re: preliminary hearing
You didn't talk to the plaintiff, because the "plaintiff" is the Commonwealth. If you mean you talked to the victim, if there is no victim there is no crime. So, if the victim doesn't want to testify against you, the charges will be dropped. Just don't intimidate the victim into not showing up, or you'll be in worse trouble.
