You will probably get a citation and have to appear before a District Magistrate Judge. At that point it depends on how the DA's office and the police elect to proceed. They might allow you to plead it down to a Summary offense of some nature, pay a fine, and walk away. On the other hand, they may ask that it be held for court. Either way, you should get an attorney as soon as you receive the citation.
