Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Prior Sentence of Imprisionment

If a prior conviction was sentenced to be paroled for three years does this qualify as Prior sentence of imprisionment. The defined meaning of ''sentence of imprisionment states that a sentence of incarciration.'' I think the prior sentence in this case would not qualify as a Prior sentence of imprisionment based on the defined meaning of IMPRISIONMNET. Please advise.
