Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

I just heard from a friend that the Assistant District Attorney told her ex-husband that I was under investigation. I am not sure what I would be under investigation for, but if I am, can the ADA tell his client this?

The ADA doesn't have clients. Sound like a bunch of hearsay and gossip.
