Private Criminal Complaint

I want to file a criminal complaint against a contractor/friend that did not complete work on my house and owes me over $50,000. How would I word to get these criminal charges approved?

I won't collect anything with just a civil case.

I filed a civil case on him for a truck over 2 years ago and never received a dime!

Contact the police. Why do you still do business with your "friend" when he still owes you money?
