probation

can a person be on probation in 2 states for 1 crime.. after being transfered to another state for probation the state where the judgement was, violated the person..the state where the person was transfered to signed off on the probation and the person was told the probation was fulfilled..the state that the judgement was wants the rest of the fine money..the person has been paying on the fine. but due to the lack of funds its was impossible for the said person to have the fine completely paid off.. and the first state knew that..now the said person has a hearing date and can not come up with the funds needed to get to court
