Procedure for obtaining a pardon for a felony.
How does one go about obtaining a pardon for felonies committed? In other words, to clear their record so the felony is no longer on their record.

The only people who can grant a pardon are (1) the governor of the state of conviction, and (2) the President of the United States. The former is infinitely easier than the latter.
Recommend you contact the liason office of the governor of the state of conviction and they can provide you with the necessary forms and information.
It is not an easy trip, but it can be done if the circumstances are sufficiently compelling.
