prohibited use of an offensive weapon

weapon: stun gun. Voltage: 100,000. Operates with a 9 volt battery. District Attorney Offerd to drop the simple assault. Minimum 6 months incarceration. Need to see other cases similar to mine and the verdicts?

A lot depends on the County and upon the Judge as well as the guidelines. If the D.A.'s Office knows that the Judge is going to slam you, some of them won't negotiate.

Sentencing in PA primarily deals with two factors: the serious of the current offense, and the defedant's prior record score. Some cases do deal with mandatory minimums. Assuming your case is not a mandatory, your sentencing will be controled by the guidelines. You should ask your lawyer what your guidelines are in this case, and if the offer is much higher then your guideleines, ask your lawyer why the offer is so much higher than the guidelines.
