I need to contact the new jersey public defenders office. I need a phone number. I live in PA, and I had a warrant in NJ, for failing to register under megan law, do I need a public defender to appear before the judge on may 11, 2009.

You are always better off with an attorney in any proceeding in any Court. If you qualify for a Public Defender, you should contact one as soon as possible.
