Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I was pulled over legitimately. Cop asked for my credentials. Credentials came back clean. Cop said while on his way back to the car to bring my info my hands were in my lap. He asked me to put my hands on steering wheel. I replied huhn. He asked again I said why. He pulls me out of the car and frisks me because he said i was moving my hands in my lap. Is this a legitimate search. And if so what case can i look under to justify why it is. If not legitimate search what case can i look under to justify why not.

The case you're looking for is Terry v Ohio. Based on what you've stated the police office could have the right to frisk you.
