Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
question about same crime different level of degree felon
i am just curious how someone who only contacts a ''minor'' is considered a 1st degree felon yet some one who meets or does other things to a ''minor'' is considered a 3rd degree felon in the same state? that seems backwards to me

I think a lot of the recent laws are overreactions to publicity about the dangers of the internet.
