A question from a parent
Is it legal for a 21 year old n a 17 year old to date n have a relationship with each other when the 17 year olds parents have consented to letting them date?

Look at the actual dates of birth. If they are within four years of each other, they're okay. The 21 year old could technically be charged with Corruption of the Morals of a Minor, I suppose, but I've never heard of a case like that. Moreover, the government doesn't go looking to intrude into people's lives. The only way that anyone would get prosecuted here, even if they were five years apart, is if the parents screamed bloody murder to the police.
