Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
questions on a criminal case
I would like to know if a case in the state of PA. had 5 continuances should it be closed. Also what does inactive mean on a web docket?

There really aren't enough facts given to answer your question. Inactive does not mean closed, though. You have to look through the docket sheets to see what the last action was. If it was a bench warrant then the defendant missed a hearing and, even if there were five continuances, that bench warrant is still out there.
