rape victim's ability to sue
my friend is a victim of rape and has had visits to a psychologist and counselor to try and recover from the trauma. the rapist is out of prison and working. the victim had not been able to afford the psychologist and now only has limited counseling because of the costs involved. can the victim sue the convicted rapist to cover the costs of her therapy?

Re: rape victim's ability to sue
If the statute of limitations has not passed your friend can sue. The main question is does the criminal have any assets to collect a judgment against.
