Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I received a Non-Traffic citation for pet off leash for $100 from York Co. Parks citing Section 75-32 A3. A District Magistrate issued a summons to appear before him on 11/28/12 with an additional cost of $69 added to the fine. Is this legal? What are the guidelines for the cost of the fine? I am on a fixed income with limited resources.

Unfortunately yes. All sorts of cost and fees are added to fines.
What you need to do is contact the DJ and see if they will let you make payments. Generally they do.
