Re: Reconsideration
A reconsideration of sentence is a petition filed with the sentencing judge asking the judge to change his or her mind about the length or type of sentence someone received after pleading or being found guilty. It must be filed in writing within ten days of the sentencing date. The petition should be filed with the clerk of criminal courts.
