Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Can my recor be expunged??
About three or four years ago, I was accused of retail theft. There were no police involved, but I signed a paper saying I was no longer allowed in the store and I was told I would have to pay a fine. I pled guilty, was fingerprinted and paid all the fines. I made a stupid mistake, this was a first offense, I am a teacher and this is seriously affecting my life. Thankfully I was able to keep my job, however I can never move on due to the backround check. Am I elegible for expungement and if so, how do I go about it??

Re: Can my recor be expunged??
if you were convicted, you must apply for a pardon. please be certain that you did not get ard or section 18, as these are NOT convictions. if you got either of these programs, you can get an expungement.
good luck.
