Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Reduction of Sentence
Is there a way for someone to have there sentence reduced to timed served for a hardship to family issue? Or to have a manditory sentence changed due to hardship in family? I'm looking for a way to reduce a sentence where most of the sentence has been served, however due to certain issues that have come up needs to be reduced or made non-manditory for early release.

Re: Reduction of Sentence
While the sentence cannot be reduced it can be changed how it is served. If there are hardship issues and only a short time remains a petition to modify to change the sentence to weekends or home confinement might work.
