Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I am a registered nurse, charge with one count of felony deferrment of narcotics. I have no prior record, what can I do to have the charges reduced?

Your best bet is to retain a lawyer. Your lawyer will try to negotiate a plea with the DA and or police. Plus, the lawyer will review the facts of the case and determine whether any pre-trial motions can be filed to assist in getting the charges reduced or withdrawn.
If you don't already have an attorney and would like to discuss this further, feel free to give me a call. If you can't afford an attorney, I would suggest that you contact the public defenders office on Monday. It is important to have an attorney involved early in the process. In the meantime, I would suggest that you do not discuss this case with anyone.
