Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Removal of M1 misdemeanors from Background
I was charged with 2 (M1) Misdemeanors on 11/24/2004 of Theft by unlawful taking-Movable and Criminal Conspiracy Engaging. Since then over 3 years have passed and I have earned my assiociates degree and have a daughter. I have been job hunting since I got my degree, but I have not been able to get a job because of my backround. I was wondering when Misdemeanors if at all will be removed from my record.
I still owe restitution, when I pay the restituion will it be removed?

If you were convicted, meaning you plead guilty or you were found guilty, the charges will never be removed unless you apply for pardon from the governor.
