Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I was robbed by my brother & his girlfriend.
If they plead out, his girlfriend is going to get ARD, and he'll get little time. My question is, if they plead guilty, can I sue them in civil court for the damage to my home, and property stolen since they'll be admitting in court that they did rob my home?

Yes, you can still sue civilly and the case gets stronger if he pleads. However, restitution should be ordered at the time of their plea. Restitution is the damages that you the victim incurred due to their criminal activity. Often that is the easier method of recovering money.

you can sue them regardless of what happens. remember oj simpson won his criminal case and lost his civil case.
